Echoing her sentiments, West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu hailed the Supreme Court's intervention, emphasizing the importance of justice prevailing in the long run. He extended gratitude to CM Banerjee for her steadfast support towards the eligible candidates affected by the High Court's ruling. Speaking to reporters during an election campaign in Krishnanagar, Basu expressed satisfaction with the apex court's decision, highlighting that their principled demands found favor with the judges.

Addressing inquiries about the potential electoral impact of the stay order, Basu underlined the significance of addressing fundamental human issues beyond electoral gains. He also responded to the Supreme Court's characterization of the alleged scam as a "systemic fraud," noting that the incident predated his tenure and highlighting the actions taken against the perpetrators.

TMC's national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee seized the opportunity to criticize the BJP, attributing the Supreme Court's decision as a setback to their attempts to destabilize the state government. Meanwhile, the BJP criticized the TMC-led government's attempts to impede a CBI probe into the matter. BJP leader Samik Bhattacharya emphasized the necessity of distinguishing between qualified and unfairly appointed candidates across all categories and asserted the continuation of the CBI investigation.

The developments underscore a significant legal and political milestone in the ongoing discourse surrounding the education sector in West Bengal, as stakeholders navigate the aftermath of the court rulings and strive for accountability and transparency in the recruitment process.
